PPD: Fatal hit-and-run crash in Pueblo
(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) said on the night of Tuesday, May 5, police were called to a hit-and-run crash that killed one person. On Tuesday, at around 10:30 p.m., officers were called to a disturbance near Routt Avenue and Baystate Avenue. When police arrived, they found a person lying in the road, who appeared to have been hit by a vehicle, according to PPD. The victim was taken to the hospital but pronounced dead shortly after. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
