Police: Speed, alcohol likely factors in deadly Penobscot crash

Police say speed and alcohol were likely both factors in a deadly crash in the town of Penobscot on Saturday evening.The Hancock County Sheriff's Department says Zachary McKechnie, 35, of Bucksport, was driving a black Volkswagen Jetta on Front Ridge Road toward Orland at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday when he went off the road, came back up onto the pavement but then rolled the vehicle over.McKechnie was thrown from the car and died from his injuries.The crash was still under investigation on Sunday.
