Police search for details on deadly hit-and-run accident in Farmington
The New Mexico State Police are seeking details regarding a tragic hit-and-run incident in Farmington, which resulted in a female's death. The incident occurred on January 2 at approximately 1:47 a.m. near NM Highway 371 and County Road 8501. An investigation revealed that the collision occurred sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. Authorities are looking for a 2021 or 2022 GMC Canyon midsize pickup truck believed to be involved, with potential damage to the driver's side headlight and fog light, as well as the grill and front bumper.
