Police respond to multiple accidents on I-70 Thursday morning
CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) -- Indiana State Police responded to two separate accidents on I-70 near the Brazil exit Thursday morning. The accidents happened near the 20-mile marker on I-70. Officials said first responders were initially dispatched to the eastbound lane of I-70 for a minor injury crash. As first responders arrived, another accident occurred in the westbound lane, which officials said was caused by a distracted driver. Drivers involved in both crashes were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
