Police pursuit ends in collision with family of four in Puyallup, WA
A young child is in critical condition, and three other family members are hospitalized following a crash caused by a man trying to evade police on Sunday morning. Police had initially tried to stop a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot, but the suspect fled, leading to a tragic accident at the intersection of 31st Avenue SW and State Route 512. The suspect ran a red light and collided with a car making a legal left turn, resulting in the family of four being hospitalized. The suspect, a 21-year-old from Graham, is also under investigation while in hospital. The Puyallup Police Department called in the Metro Cities Major Collision Response Team to conduct a thorough investigation at the scene.
