Police on Rugby Ave. for accident, no injuries
A significant number of police officers were seen on Rugby Avenue Sunday evening in response to a car accident that occurred. The Rochester Police Department was called to the scene after a vehicle traveling southbound on Rugby Avenue collided with a vehicle heading northbound. A News 8 photographer mentioned that the street was closed off from Chili Avenue to Frost Avenue. The driver of the southbound vehicle involved in the collision was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for precautionary reasons, but fortunately, no serious injuries were reported by authorities.
