Police: Man critically injured after being hit by car on busy road in Florence
A man was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car on Tuesday night in Florence.The crash happened around 8:15 p.m. in the 7100 block of Turfway Road, just east of Drexel Avenue.The Florence Police Department said a pedestrian was hit by a Hyundai Accent that was traveling eastbound on Turfway Road in the right lane, as the pedestrian was crossing the street.The man was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition and police said he was stable Tuesday night.Police said the driver of the car that hit the pedestrian cooperated with the investigation and remained at the scene. No charges are expected to be filed against the driver.
