Police investigating fatal crash in Glastonbury
GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — An 84-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon after a crash on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury, according to police. Police responded to the crash around 2:43 p.m., where they found an 84-year-old driver of one of the vehicles unconscious. He was transported to the hospital, along with a passenger in the same vehicle who needed evaluation. The 84-year-old man was traveling east on Hebron Avenue when he turned left onto Glenwood Road in the path of an oncoming vehicle. His car was then redirected into a third vehicle that was waiting to turn onto Hebron Avenue from Glenwood Road. Police did not mention whether anybody else was injured as a result of the crash. Route 94 has since reopened to traffic. Anybody with information about the crash is asked to contact Officer Brendan Lynch at 860-633-830.
