Police investigate e-bike crash in East Village
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Police are investigating an e-bike crash that happened in East Village Thursday night. The San Diego Police Department said a person was seriously injured during the crash that happened near Island Avenue and 11th Street. Officials said to avoid the area and expect traffic delays while they work the scene. On Wednesday, authorities also reported that a 24-year-old man riding an e-bike was seriously injured after being struck by an SUV in the University City neighborhood. This is a developing story.
