Police investigate after car slams into SE Portland Sherwin-Williams store
Police detained someone who is accused of crashing through the wall of a business in SE Portland on Tuesday afternoon before taking off running. First responders were called out at about 4:45 p.m. on reports that a vehicle crashed into the Sherwin-Williams Paint Store located in the 9700 block of SE Division Street in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood. People inside the paint store were hurt, however, they are expected to survive their injuries, Portland Police officials said. The driver fled after the crash but was later apprehended by officers, according to a bureau spokesperson.
