Police identify Johnston man killed in motorcycle crash
Police have identified the person killed in a motorcycle crash involving a truck towing a flatbed trailer in Johnston over the weekend. The Johnston Police Department responded to Hartford Avenue near the Oak Swamp Reservoir for the crash involving a motorcycle and a truck carrying a flatbed trailer. The motorcyclist died in the crash. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Jason Packard of Johnston. On Monday, the department said it had no evidence to support criminal charges. The crash still remains under investigation.
