Police discover narcotics and illegal firearm following vehicle collision in Vallejo
The Vallejo Police Department recently apprehended the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision, facing several felony charges. The incident took place at the intersection of Tennessee Street and Oakwood Street. Although no injuries were reported, police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the car, along with prescription medication not belonging to the driver, including over 60 Xanax pills. The driver was determined not to be under the influence at the time of the crash. A search of the vehicle revealed bags of marijuana, a digital scale, marijuana vape cartridges, and a loaded firearm. The driver was taken into custody, treated at a medical facility, and later booked into Solano County Jail. The individual's name was not disclosed. All evidence, including the firearm and drugs, was confiscated, and the car was towed from the scene.
