Police: Chase ends in crash, officer-involved shooting in Cleveland County

Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting following a chase and crash in Cleveland County. Around 9:10 a.m. on Wednesday morning, officers with the Moore Police Department were attempting to stop a vehicle in the 300 block of N.W. 27th St. Instead of stopping, the driver led officers on a chase. The chase headed southbound on I-35 until the driver exited on Flood Ave, and then traveled to Tecumseh Rd. As the chase reached Tecumseh Rd. and 24th St. NW, an officer attempted a pit maneuver, causing the vehicle to crash. At that point, authorities say shots were fired by officers. There is no word on the condition of the driver. No officers were injured in the incident. The area around Tecumseh Rd. and 24th St. NW is closed and the case is under investigation.
