Police called to school bus crash on Vick Street in Portsmouth

The incident took place at the intersection of Vick Street and Pollux Circle around 7:45 a.m. Officials believe the school bus collided with a pole and was the only vehicle involved. Fortunately, there were 39 students from Waters Middle School on board during the crash. Four students with minor injuries were taken to the hospital. In response to the incident, school officials informed parents that a replacement bus was en route to transport the students safely to school.
