Police: 85-year-old woman dies after head-on collision in Odenton
A crash involving two SUVs on Monday claimed the life of an 85-year-old woman in Odenton while injuring two others. According to the Anne Arundel County police, around 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a crash on Piney Orchard Parkway near Ransom Drive in Odenton. Police determined that a Lexus RX350 SUV left its lane after failing to negotiate a curve and struck an oncoming Hyundai Tucson head-on. The passenger of the Hyundai, who was identified as 85-year-old Amelia Knuckey of Odenton, died at the scene of the crash. The two drivers of the vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospitals.The crash remains under investigation.
