Police: 21-year-old man dies in Cape Cod crash
A man was killed in a car accident in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, where the vehicle he was driving crashed and rolled over into a wooded area. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Tuesday on Highbank Road near Coveview Drive in South Yarmouth, as reported by local police. Several 911 calls were made, prompting police response to find the car overturned and on fire. The driver, a 21-year-old man from South Yarmouth, was unable to be saved despite efforts by responding officers due to the flames. The victim, who was alone in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed. Additionally, three officers were treated for smoke inhalation at Cape Cod Hospital. Highbank Road was closed for several hours for investigation, with the town's police department advising drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
