Pilot, student taken to hospital after helicopter crash at Cedar City airport
CEDAR CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A helicopter was involved in an accident at Cedar City Regional Airport Saturday morning, according to Cedar City Police. Officers responded to the Cedar City airport on a report of a Southern Utah University helicopter involved in a crash. Two individuals, a pilot and student, were taken to the Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the incident. "The aircraft involved sustained significant damage, however, no other property was damaged," Cedar City Police said. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the incident. No further information is available at this time.
