PHOTOS: Serious injuries reported, LIFESTAR called after crash in Haddam
HADDAM, Conn. (WTNH) — A person was flown by LIFESTAR to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Friday night in Haddam, according to the Haddam Volunteer Fire Company. Around 8:45 p.m. crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on Candlewood Hill Road south of Jacoby Road. Arriving crews found one vehicle off the road in a snow embankment with a person trapped inside and another vehicle on the road. LIFESTAR was called while extricating one person. They were flown to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries. A passenger of the same vehicle and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to Middlesex Hospital. The road was closed during the incident while crews cleared debris and fluid spills. Connecticut State Police are investigating the crash.
