Person killed, others hospitalized in crash at Sunset, Cimarron
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- One person was killed, and others were taken to a hospital after a collision in the southwest Las Vegas valley Monday morning. Shortly before 7 a.m. on Monday, March 23, officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a collision at the intersection of West Sunset and South Cimarron roads. The collision happened between a pickup truck and a sedan, police said. Police said multiple people were taken to a local hospital, and one person was pronounced dead. The intersection has been closed due to the accident and will remain restricted while the investigation continues. West Sunset and South Cimarron roads are closed in both directions, police said.
