Pedestrian killed in overnight crash in Montgomery County
A deadly crash involving a pedestrian has shut down a portion of Veirs Mill Road early Monday morning in Montgomery County , according to police. Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officers responded around 2:08 a.m. to the area of Veirs Mill Road and Gail Street for a reported collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian . Police initially said the crash involved a pedestrian on a scooter. In an update posted by MCPD around 4 a.m., officials clarified that the man who was pronounced dead at the scene was not traveling on a scooter.
