Pedestrian killed in early morning collision on northbound CC215 at Far Hills Avenue
A stretch of northbound CC215 was shut down early Saturday after a deadly crash involving an SUV and a pedestrian near Far Hills Avenue. Nevada Highway Patrol, a division of the Nevada State Police, responded to a report of a crash Saturday at 2:56 a.m. One adult male pedestrian was confirmed dead at the scene, Nevada Highway Patrol said. All travel lanes on northbound CC215 at Far Hills were closed as troopers investigated, and all northbound traffic was diverted onto the CC215/Far Hills off-ramp. Further information is expected after the preliminary investigation is completed.
