Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run crash in South Memphis
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run crash in South Memphis on Sunday evening, according to Memphis Police. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Lamar Avenue, near Airways Boulevard, just after 6 p.m. after receiving reports of an accident involving a pedestrian. When officers arrived, they found a man with injuries. The victim was transported to a hospital in non-critical condition. Police said the driver involved in the crash left the scene before officers arrived. No information about the suspect vehicle has been released. The investigation is ongoing.
