Pedestrian hit during car crash in Kansas City neighborhood
A person was hit while crossing a Kansas City, MO, road Friday afternoon.Kansas City, Missouri police said it all happened just before 4:30 p.m. Friday near 31st Street and Wabash Avenue.KCPD said an Acura was driving west on 31st Street. At the same time, a Mercedes left a private driveway heading north on Wabash Ave.The Mercedes didn't yield to oncoming traffic and was hit by the Acura. A pedestrian crossing Wabash was hit by the Mercedes during the crash.KCPD said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. At last check, the pedestrian was in serious, but stable, condition. The drivers of both cars weren't hurt. A KCPD investigation is ongoing.
