Pedestrian fatally struck by driver on I-70; authorities seek suspect
A tragic incident occurred on Wednesday on I-70, as reported by the Colorado State Patrol. A woman lost her life while walking across the interstate near milepost 113, west of Glenwood Springs. The incident involved a semi-truck with a trailer in the right westbound lane. Unfortunately, the driver initially stopped but left the scene before authorities arrived. The pedestrian, a 47-year-old woman from Glenwood Springs, passed away at the scene. The driver involved is being sought, and investigations are ongoing.
