Pedestrian dies after crash in NE Albuquerque neighborhood
APD officers are currently investigating a crash that occurred in a northeast Albuquerque neighborhood.Officers responded to a crash shortly after noon on the 6200 block of Sonrisa Place Northeast, near Anaheim Avenue and San Pedro Drive Northeast where a vehicle hit a pedestrian. Officers say the driver of a white Ford Truck was dropping off two passengers when the vehicle failed to come to a complete stop, running over one of the passengers and crashing into a nearby residence.The female victim was transported to a hospital. Police officers have now confirmed that she has succumbed to her injuries. This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.
