Pauline Potter, former 'My 600-Lb. Life' star, passes away at 62 following car crash injuries

Pauline Potter, who appeared on the reality show My 600-Lb. Life, passed away at the age of 62. Her son, Dillon, shared the news in an emotional YouTube video on November 30, revealing that Pauline had died on Thanksgiving, several months after being involved in a car accident in January that left her with lasting health issues. The accident occurred on a dark highway when their car collided with a trailer that had no lights on. Both Dillon and Pauline sustained injuries, but Pauline's health continued to deteriorate in the following months. She was diagnosed with broken ribs and a leg injury after the accident and later experienced severe chest pains, digestive issues, a blockage in her esophagus, and ultimately tested positive for COVID-19. Despite medical efforts, her condition worsened, and she was eventually placed on hospice care in November. Sadly, Pauline passed away on Thanksgiving Day. Dillon has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for her cremation. Pauline, once recognized as the heaviest living woman by Guinness World Records, had made significant progress in her weight loss journey over the years.
