Passenger killed in Dartmouth crash
DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — A Dartmouth man died after a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon. Christopher Canario, 22, was the passenger in a car that struck a tree in the area of 899 Old Fall River Road, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office. The DA's office said first responders were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. and arrived to find the vehicle in the woods, facing westbound on the eastbound side of the roadway. Both occupants were brought to the hospital. Canario was later pronounced dead, while the driver, a 23-year-old woman, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the DA's office said.
