Paramedic's warning after tragic crash claims Kenosha man's life

There were two serious crashes involving three vehicles each on County Highway BD in the Town of Brighton, occurring only a few miles apart and hours apart. Sadly, one person died, and others were injured in the incidents, prompting concerns about safety on this rural road. The fatal crash occurred when a Honda traveling south veered into oncoming traffic, leading to a head-on collision with a Ford. A third vehicle, a Porsche following the Honda, was also involved in the crash. Despite efforts from first responders, the Honda driver, a 75-year-old man from Kenosha, passed away at the scene. The Ford driver was airlifted to a Milwaukee hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the Porsche driver was taken to a local medical center. The area has seen an increase in serious accidents, especially with rising traffic levels. Emergency responder Jaxon Vaal emphasized the need for caution, particularly during winter months when road conditions can be challenging. Authorities are reminding drivers to stay attentive, drive at safe speeds, and exercise extra care, especially in adverse weather and on high-traffic rural roads, to prevent further tragedies.
