Parade canceled after woman gets injured
A collision involving parade displays resulted in the Winesburg Christmas Parade being called off and a lady being airlifted to a hospital in Clyde on Saturday. Responders rushed to Main Street and Meadow Lane just before 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports of the incident. Upon arrival, they discovered an injured woman who has since been taken to a Toledo hospital by helicopter. Her current condition remains unknown. Chief Monti Campbell of Clyde police mentioned that the woman was participating in the parade but was not on a float when the accident occurred due to one of the floats moving abruptly. Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the accident.
