Oregon woman dies after crashing into forklift on highway
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- An Oregon woman died on Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash in Klamath County, Oregon State Police announced. The crash occurred near Chiloquin on Hwy 97. Investigators say Sue Evans, 76, was driving a Dodge Ram with a trailer attached and crossed into the opposite lane for unknown reasons, crashing head-on into a Ford F550 that was pulling a trailer and forklift. Evans was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
