One person killed in three-vehicle crash in Perinton
UPDATE (Monday, May 11): The driver killed in the crash has been identified as Wendy Demarzo, 73, of Perinton. — Perinton, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly crash involving three vehicles Friday afternoon. Deputy David Marcucci said a westbound Nissan crossed over the center line on Macedon Center Road near Copper Beech Run, struck a Toyota and then collided with a dump truck shortly before 2:40 p.m. Marcucci said the Nissan driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two drivers were not injured. Macedon Center Road between Wakeman and Monroe-Wayne County Line roads was closed for several hours but has since reopened. No citations have been issued, according to Marcucci. The investigation is ongoing.
