One killed, 28-year-old in custody after crash in Milwaukee
One person is dead and a 28-year-old is in custody after a serious crash in the Arlington Gardens neighborhood Friday night.According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the crash happened just after 9 p.m. near West Congress Street and West Appleton Avenue. The 28-year-old involved in the crash was driving southeast on West Appleton Avenue, while the 27-year-old in the other vehicle was traveling north on the same street.Police say the two vehicles collided at the intersection of West Congress Street and West Appleton Avenue.The 27-year-old driver was pronounced dead on the scene. Police took the 28-year-old driver into custody, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
