One injured in car crash on Belmont Ave in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - One person was injured after a crash on Belmont Ave in Springfield on Thursday. The Springfield Fire Department states that at approximately 6:20 p.m., crews were sent to 164 Belmont Ave for a motor vehicle accident, with one person trapped inside. When crews arrived, the person was removed from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital with injuries. There is no word on the cause of the crash at this time.
