One hospitalized in Route 3 wrong-way crash
One person was hospitalized following a wrong-way crash on Route 3 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, during the Wednesday evening commute, backing up traffic for miles.The crash occurred around 4:20 p.m. on the northbound side of Route 3.According to a Massachusetts State Police spokesperson, a vehicle traveling south on Route 3 crossed the median and collided with several vehicles on the northbound side of the highway.One person was transported to the hospital. Their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.Sky 5 was over the scene where the crash caused major traffic delays.Traffic is only getting by in the left lane on the northbound side while the vehicles are being towed from the scene.The incident remains under investigation and it's unclear if any charges will be filed at this time.
