One dies after crash involving truck and motorcycle: Hudson Police
HUDSON, Wis. (WFRV) - The City of Hudson Police Department released a statement earlier on Thursday following a fatal motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a truck. According to the statement, on Wednesday, July 1 around 1:30 p.m., the St. Croix County Emergency Communication Center received numerous reports of a motor vehicle crash with serious injuries. The crash took place on Hanley Road at Carmichael Road within the City of Hudson. First responders from several agencies arrived on scene and initiated lifesaving measures. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Jacob Wagner of River Falls, was transported to Regions Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. It was reported that Wagner was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The driver of the truck was reported to be a juvenile, whose name is not being released at this time, pending further investigation. The juvenile driver did not sustain any injuries. The cause of the crash is still being investigated, and no further details were released. WFRV will update this story as necessary.
