One dead, three injured after car hits two motorcycles in LaPorte County
A man is dead after a crash involving two motorcycles and a car in LaPorte County. Deputies responded to the intersection of US-421 and School Road around 4 p.m. Saturday for the crash. Police say the driver of the car, 19-year-old Daniel Quiroz, hit a motorcycle driven by 42-year-old Ryan Harrison. Harrison and his passenger were then thrown from the motorcycle. Officials say Quiroz kept driving and hit another motorcycle, ejecting the 42-year-old and his passenger from that motorcycle as well. Harrison and his passenger were transported to Memoria Hospital by medical helicopter. He later died from his injuries. The second pair of riders were sent to Franciscan Hospital for treatment. No other information is known at this time.
