One dead, three charged after crash at conclusion of police chase in Amesbury, Mass.

One person was killed, and three others are facing charges, after a crash that occurred at the conclusion of a police pursuit in Amesbury, Massachusetts. An officer tried to stop a vehicle for speeding along Hillside Avenue at 9:09 p.m. on Monday. Police said the driver initially pulled over, but fled before officers could make contact. A brief pursuit followed. Police said the vehicle crashed approximately two minutes later, after covering about three miles. The Toyota SUV crashed at the intersection of Elm Street and Route 110.Police said a backseat passenger was ejected from the SUV and subsequently hit by another vehicle. He later died. Officials have identified him only as a 24-year-old resident of Lawrence.Yenciel Soto, 18, of Lawrence, was driving the SUV, police said. He faces charges including speeding, marked lanes violation, failure to stop for police, driving on a suspended license, trafficking heroin and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.Felix Agramonte, 24, and Iran Soto-Custodio, 29, both of Lawrence, were also charged with trafficking in heroin, police said.
