One dead, one injured in crash near Hamby
TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A fatal crash near the Taylor County line around Hamby has left one person dead and another injured, according to officials. The crash happened Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 351 and Elmdale Road. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a pickup truck collided with the side of a semi-gravel hauler. Officials say the driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that have not been disclosed. An official statement is expected to be released once the next of kin have been notified.
