One dead, one hospitalized after wreck on US Route 136 near McLean Sunday night
MCLEAN, Ill. (WMBD) -- One person is dead and another injured after a single-vehicle wreck in McLean County late Sunday night. At 11:59 p.m. on May 24, Illinois State Police Troopers were called to the wreck on U.S. Route 136 under the Interstate 55 overpass near McLean, said Ryan Wagand, an ISP spokesperson. When troopers arrived, they found one person had died and took another to the hospital, he said. No update on their condition was given. Both lanes were closed until 6:07 a.m. No cause of the wreck was given. No further information was made immediately available.
