One dead in Spartanburg County crash
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - One person was killed Friday in a crash in Spartanburg County. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, at around 8:27 p.m. the driver of a 2024 Toyota sedan was driving north on Aiken Road when they went off the right side of the road, causing the car to flip multiple times. A back seat passenger was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where they later succumbed to their injuries. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has identified the passenger as Anna Maureen LeCoq, 27, of Woodruff. A forensic exam has been scheduled as part of the coroner's investigation. The wreck remains under investigation by the coroner's office and highway patrol.
