One dead in Marion motorcycle crash
MARION, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person is dead after an early morning motorcycle crash in Marion County on Friday. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at approximately 12:18 a.m. on Presidential Drive near Willow Street in Marion. Police said Linken J. Tyler, 30, of Marion, was driving a 2019 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special motorcycle north on Presidential Drive when he lost control of the bike and hit a curb, throwing Tyler from the bike. Watch the latest NBC4 headlines in the video player above. Tyler was taken to Marion General Hospital before being med-flighted to Grant Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Marion City Police and Marion City Fire and EMS.
