One dead in east Wichita crash on Kellogg

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Drivers are being asked to avoid westbound Kellogg Avenue after a crash that killed one person in east Wichita. It happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday in the westbound lanes of Kellogg near Grove Street. Police think traffic was at a standstill due to merging traffic when a motorcycle crashed into the back of a stopped vehicle. The motorcyclist, a 72-year-old man, died at the scene, according to the Wichita Police Department.
