One dead after motorcycle, tractor-trailer crash on Illinois 4 in Madison County
Illinois State Police responded June 9 to a fatal crash on Illinois 4 just south of Interstate 70 near Marine. The crash happened at about 9:10 a.m. in Madison County. According to preliminary information from state police, the crash involved a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle. One person was pronounced dead. The crash shut down both lanes of the highway. The lanes have since reopened. No additional information was immediately available.
