One dead after East Providence rollover crash
One person is dead and another has been hospitalized after an early-morning rollover crash in East Providence. According to East Providence Police, the crash occurred at around 4 a.m. on the Wampanoag Trail in the area of Forbes St. Two young adult occupants were in the vehicle- one male and one female. The male was pronounced dead, while the female was hospitalized with minor injuries. Traffic in the area of Wampanoag Trail and Forbes St. was diverted until 9:30 a.m. as police dealt with the scene. Police are investigating the cause of the crash, as well as the events leading up to it.
