Norfolk police investigate motorcycle crash with life-threatening injuries
NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Norfolk Police are investigating the cause of a motorcycle-involved crash that left the rider with life-threatening injuries. On July 7, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the intersection of North Military Highway and Lake Wright Drive at approximately 12:50 p.m. Police said the operator was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. North Military Highway in the northbound direction will be shut down near the scene of the crash while officers continue to investigate the cause. Police advise motorists to use Kilmer Lane/Almeda Avenue, which connects between East Princess Anne Road and Robin Hood Road.
