New Orleans driver hospitalized after car crashes, overturns on train tracks
According to the NOPD, a vehicle travelling west on Interstate 10 crashed while exiting at City Park Avenue and landed on the railroad tracks below. The driver was safely removed from the vehicle and transported to the hospital. The vehicle was later removed and towed away. WDSU has reached out to Amtrak about any possible delays due to the accident and is awaiting a response.
