New Haven police investigating fatal scooter crash on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A man driving a scooter died Thursday following a crash on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard in New Haven, police said. According to the New Haven Police Department, a man was found in the roadway with significant injuries at approximately 9:33 p.m. on the 200 block of Ella T. Grasso Boulevard. The man was ultimately pronounced deceased. Police said they have not determined his identity, saying he is a white man appearing to be in his 20s or 30s. The New Haven police Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to assume responsibility for the investigation, which is ongoing.
