NASCAR driver's estate robbed of $30,000 post-plane crash
In a sad turn of events following the tragic plane crash involving former NASCAR driver Greg Biffle and his family in December, Biffle's Mooresville home in North Carolina was recently burglarized, as reported by the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. The incident, which occurred on the evening of Jan. 8, involved the theft of $30,000 in cash and a backpack valued at around $30. Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made yet, with authorities diligently reviewing available evidence. The burglary took place weeks after the plane crash that claimed the lives of Biffle, his wife, and children, along with other passengers. The National Transportation Safety Board is still investigating the crash, with a preliminary report expected soon. A public remembrance service for Greg Biffle is planned for this Friday at Bojangles Coliseum, with doors opening at 10 a.m. and the service beginning at 11 a.m.
