NASCAR Driver Greg Biffle's Home Robbed, Losing $30K After Tragic Plane Crash
Shortly after Greg Biffle, his family, and others tragically lost their lives in a North Carolina plane crash, burglars targeted their home and stole $30,000 in cash. The Iredell County Sheriff's Office responded to a potential break-in at the Biffle residence on January 8, where it was discovered that a backpack containing the cash had been taken. Authorities have not yet made any arrests in connection with the theft, and the investigation is ongoing. The tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, their children Emma and Ryder, as well as Dennis Dutton, Jack Dutton, and Craig Wadsworth occurred on December 18. The NTSB is still investigating the cause of the crash, which took place shortly after takeoff from Statesville Regional Airport. Reports obtained from witness 911 calls detail the horrifying crash, with one witness describing a large explosion after the plane hit a tree line. NASCAR is organizing a public memorial service for the victims this Friday at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte.
