Multiple vehicles crash on Ft. Duquesne Bridge | Large police presence

Two people have died following a multiple vehicle crash sent a car over an interchange at a Pittsburgh bridge, officials said. Pittsburgh Police Chief Jason Lando said the crash began at the split between Route 65 and Route 28 on Pittsburgh’s North Shore. Five vehicles were involved in the crash, with one of those vehicles going over and off the interchange near the Fort Duquesne Bridge onto Reedsdale Street. The driver in the car that plunged over the rail was killed, while emergency crews had to use the jaws of life to free another person in a car on the bridge.That person was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. All others involved in the crash were able to walk away unharmed.
